a very short play on a Friday when all the Fs to give were in overdraft for at least 3 days.

Scene: Uptown, Friday evening. A Man walks by a group of Women who are on their way to the train.

Man: (Stops.) Hey! Can I speak to y’all for a minute?

(Women continue walking. One woman in the group turns back to him while still walking.)

One woman: Yeah, no thanks, but stay hydrated!

(Lights dim as women continue to the train entrance.)
